ROUTE
Friday 9/6- 7:00PM Meet at Islands Restaurant 10055 W. McDowell Rd. Avondale
KSU 8:00 Off We Go!! Stop in Quartzsite, AZ. for gas and stretch. Stop at Chiriaco Summit for gas and stretch. Arrive Indio, CA. Between midnight an one. Staying at the Best Western Date Tree Hotel 81909 Indio Blvd. Indio, CA. 89$ rate.
Saturday 9/7 - Breakfast in Indio. Leave for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Have lunch there, and enjoy the library. Head out to the coast ending up in Solvang. Staying at the Days Inn 114 E. Hwy. 246, Buellton, CA. 134$ rate.
Sunday 9/8 - Breakfast in Solvang. Visit the Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum. Lunch in Solvang. Head to Santa Maria, and make a stop at Santa Maria Harley Davidson. Head back to the coast, and stay in Morro Bay for the night. staying at the Best Western Tradewinds 225 beach St. Morro Bay, CA. 98$ rate.
Monday 9/9 – Head up the coast for the best part of PCH! Take our time, and enjoy the views. Take a ride up and around Hearst castle, with beautiful views of the coast! Head over the Bixby bridge, and into Monterey/Carmel. Staying at the Best Western Park Crest Inn 1100 Munras Ave. Monterey, CA. 98$ rate.
Tuesday 9/10 - Stop at Monterey Harley Davidson Cannery Row, and continue up the PCH toward San Francisco. Take a ride through Half Moon Bay, and through Grey Whale Cove State Beach (hopefully see some whales, bring your cameras!) Off to Pacifica to ride by the lighthouse and stay at the Best Western Lighthouse Hotel......on the beach!!! 105 Rockaway Beach Ave. Pacifica, CA. 159$ rate.(regularly 229$ a night!!)
Wed 9/11 - Head around San Francisco through the Presidio, down the famous Lombard Street, and over the Golden Gate Bridge. Stop in Sausalito for lunch, and the best hamburger you ever had. Take a ride through Golden Gate Park and stop for breathtaking views of the bridge, Alcatraz, and the city. Ride back over the bridge, and head south on the PCH for a whole new perspective. Stay south of San Francisco.
Thurs 9/12-Ride down the highway, enjoying a whole new perspective. Stopping where we missed on the way up. Ride baby ride!! Stopping in Cambria for the night.
Fri 9/13 - Ride the PCH down the coast through Malibu, and the beaches. Stay along the route.
Sat 9/14 - Head to Pioneertown and stay there for the night.
Sun 9/15- Head home.
Remember, you can't make all the bucket list rides unless you make the first one!
