Sunday April 9th we will have our first Official RidersUSA Gun related group event of 2023,
Two handgun or Pistol Classes - 8:30 am-12:30 pm, and 1:30 PM to 5:30
Location is Ben Avery Pistol Range #2 at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility located at 4044 W. Black Canyon Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85086
These Pistol classes are geared towards beginners, limited experience or someone that has not been shooting for a while (6 months or More).
In this class you will learn the 4 universal gun safety rules, proper loading and unloading of your weapon, proper grip, stance, sight picture and sight alignment, and the understanding of trigger control. You will learn Proper presentation from the holster, to the ready and from the holster to the target, this will be explained and demonstrated. You will learn to deliver a controlled pair of shots to the thoracic cavity, as well as a single shot to the cranial ocular cavity (headshot).
You will also engage multiple assailants and engage a hostage taker.
Class Requirements: Standard pistol (no micro or pocket pistols), sturdy belt, holster, 2 mag carrier, at least 3 magazines, eye and hearing protection (electronic hearing protection preferred), and you will need approximately 150 to 200 rounds of ammo. If you need any equipment or a firearm, contact Rob Hart. He provide equipment at no extra charge. Ammo is available at street prices, no tax.
Cost for the class: $60.00 Cash per person, this includes everything except for your ammo.
